It is the same API that powers the moderation service in Le Chat. We are launching it to empower our users to utilize and tailor this tool to their specific applications and safety standards.

Today we introduce Devstral, our agentic LLM for software engineering tasks. Devstral is built under a collaboration between Mistral AI and All Hands AI 🙌, and outperforms all open-source models on SWE-Bench Verified by a large margin. We release Devstral under the Apache 2.0 license.

Codestral Embed

We are excited to release Codestral Embed, our first embedding model specialized for code. It performs especially well for retrieval use cases on real-world code data.

Introducing Mistral Code
